I started blogging for almost three years now.  But because I am busy in my work I opted not to write regularly. Tarima

I was supposed to watched “Laruang lalake” last Thursday in Robinson Galleria but to my surprise it was not already available instead another indie film is currently showing and it is Neal Tan “Tarima”. I decided to watch it since I am already there.  In fairness, the movie was really good, and I must say this are the theme that our indie film producer and director should do. Produced film that showcase the good behavior, that gays are very loving and affectionate. I am not familiar with the word “Tarima” but as I ‘ve searched it over the internet it was a Spanish word for love nest.  

Tarima is a story of unconventional love stars Fanny Serrano, a homo who always beaten by his grandmother caught between Love and devotion to God also in this are veteran actress Ms Gloraia Romero who played a narrow minded grandmother , does not show respect to anybody but a devotee, Ms Rustica Carpio and Chocoleit who does the comic relief of the film. I also admired Rocky Salumbides for his performance as a cynical prisoner, a man who lost his passion in life.

I must agree in one of Oscar and Chocoleit scene when the old (Oscar) gay said that during their days the gays are not loud but today they are so much exposed and loud.  I did not like the scene of those gay inside the chapel where they are having a fellowship. For me is seems like they don’t have a respect in the house of the Lord. Also, I don’t agree with the lovemaking scene of Roselo and Bryan since it was established in the film that Bryan avoids and never had sex with gay. Just because Roselo’s kindness?

The Social Network-My Review

I am grateful to nuffnang for the opportunity to watch the premiere showing of The Social Network.  With Pldt mydsl+wifi modem in this event it was a success. Also during that night a fellow blogger was fortunate to win a modem.

"The social Network narrates the story Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook.  On a night  of 2003 after Mark break up with his girlfriend Erica  he sits down at his computer with anger and begins blogging and programming and began hacking the Harvard residences system.  He creates  Facemash a website where Male students  will rate the attractiveness of female Harvard undergraduates. Because of the traffic that almost crash the Harvard system Mark  is punished with 6 months probation. Mark became popular at Harvard especially in women because of the website he made. He also captured the attention of the Winklevoss Twin a member of the Harvard rowing team. He took a programming job to the twins to do a website called the Harvard connection.

Mark talk to his friend Eduardo, of his idea of doing his own website called “TheFacebook”  a social networking system exclusively to Harvard University Student where people can display and share personal information without the invasion of privacy. Eduardo agrees to help Mark, to fund his project and eventually lunch the ”Thefacebook”.  Divya the business partner of the Twin Winklevoss learn the launch of mark’s website he told it to the twins that mark stole their idea.  As the success of the website they expand it to other school. What happens in during that night of 2003 became a global social network. The highlights of the film is his  indictment by Eduardo and the Winklevoss.  Being an entrepreneur his success leads him to both personal and legal complications.

At the end of the film Mark send a friend request on Facebook  to his former girlfriend Erica, and then refreshing it after every second.   The Social Network is a Film of David Fincher.
